INVOLVE RELEVANT STAFF

SELECT A BASELINE
When calculating the plastic products consumed in your business select a baseline year that reflects a stable operating year (e.g. not 12 months in which the business had been (partly) closed).
USE A SPREADSHEET
Use a spreadsheet for the weight results so that you can easily compare results. Ensure that the weight is always measured the same way (e.g. always in kg). Also include the monthly or annually disposal costs in the spreadsheet.
CONSIDER BRAND STANDARDS
Why are certain products used? Consider current brand standards in the spreadsheet and also think about if the standard can be adapted.
